From Page to Stage

Gareth Reeves, who plays Harry Potter in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in Melbourne presents a workshop for young actors, using scenes from the Cursed Child script. This workshop is designed for high school students studying Drama.
Workshops will be held via Zoom and will include a 90-minute workshop and 30-minute Q&A session, moderated by Helen Perris.
Gareth has extensive stage and screen experience on both sides of the Tasman including working with Melbourne Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare, The National Theatre of Great Britain, Malthouse Theatre, Red Stitch Actors Theatre, and television productions like Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Wentworth, The Leftovers, Mary Making of a Princess and films such as Pete’s Dragon, Under the Mountain, The Lord of the Rings, A Song of Good, and I’m not Harry Jensen. Gareth has taught Acting Technique, Improvisation, Devising and Movement across the age range and continues to pursue his own training in Acting Technique, Movement, Stage Combat
and Education. Gareth is a passionate actor and teacher who uses a variety of skills and techniques in his work gleaned from over 20 years in the industry and continual self education and improvement.
